Spain also missed a penalty through Jennifer Hermoso (’70).

Rafael Nadal congratulated the girls coached by Jorge Wilda on Instagram.

For the first time in history, all teams on the podium are from Europe: Spain (gold), England (silver), Sweden (bronze).
