Instead, Djokovic won after two tied sets of German Alexander Zverev (17 ATP), score 7-6(5), 7-5. The game lasted two hours and four minutes.
The Grand Final in Cincinnati will take place on Sunday, from 23:30 (Romanian time).
This will be the fourth game between Carlos and Novak, currently the Iberian leads the Serb with a score of 2:1.
