At the end of last year, Christophe Daum (69 years old) publicly announced that he was diagnosed with cancer, and the former coach of Romania said that he will fight with all his “weapons” to defeat the disease.

Although he has always shown that he is optimistic, Christoph Daum continues to face serious health problems. The German technician is currently in a serious condition, he had to undergo another operation, as well as resume the course of chemotherapy.

“I spoke to him earlier but unfortunately the news is not very good. He is in a rather difficult condition, recently everything has worsened. It is much worse than a few months ago when he came to Bucharest. He had to undergo surgery again, he is undergoing chemotherapy and hopes to recover,” said Ionuc Badia, Christophe Daum’s second coach in the Romanian national team.
