Kylian Mbappe was left out of the PSG squad after he refused to activate the clause to extend his contract until 2025, but the striker is now back in Luis Enrique’s side.
Kylian Mbappe returns to PSG training
Mbappe can be used again by the Spanish coach, which happened only in the friendly match won with Le Havre (it was 2:0, the forward scored a goal).
“Following very constructive and positive discussions between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe ahead of the PSG-Lorraine match, the player was reinstated in the first training team this morning,” PSG announced.
On July 21, PSG decided not to take Mbappe, whose contract expires in June 2024, to a training camp in Japan and South Korea amid suspicions he had secretly agreed with Real Madrid to leave on a free at the end of the season.
Kylian was in the stands during the draw with Lorient (0:0) in the first stage of Ligue 1.
