​Alexandru Pashcanu, a defender who has made 25 appearances for the youth team of Romania, has been loaned by Ponferrada to Sporting Gijon.

Ponferradine, a team relegated to Spain’s third division, signed Pashcana from CFR Cluj in the summer of 2020.

According to the Spanish press, Gijón will pay 100,000 euros for the rental of the defender. If the second division Pyrenean side are satisfied with the Romanian’s performance, they will have to pay another €600,000 to make the transfer final.

According to Transfermarkt, Alexander Pashkan (24 years old) is valued at one million euros.

His first contact with football in Spain came in the summer of 2020 when he arrived at SD Ponferradina.
