In his first official game for Real Madrid, Bellingham (moved from Borussia Dortmund) impressed to become the third-youngest debutant (20 years and 44 days) to score for Madrid this century, behind Rodrigo (18 years and 259 days in 2019 against Osasuna) and Kamavinga (18 years and 306 days in 2021, against Celta Vigo).

Having injured his knee, Eder Militao left the field in the 50th minute.
