Burnley – Manchester City 0-3, first round of the Premier League

The Citizens have made a good start to the new Premier League season, hoping to defend their title.

Pep Guardiola’s men opened the scoring after just four minutes when top scorer Erling Haaland headed home Rodri’s cross.

It was 2-0 before the break when Haaland struck again from inside the penalty area in the 36th minute, but the home goalkeeper, whose name resembles the name of the opponents’ stadium, Trafford, was unable to save.

City’s concert ended in the 75th minute when Rodri also got his name on the scoresheet.

In extra time, Burnley remained in numerical advantage after Anass Zaruri was sent off.
