After an impressive career in Europe’s most powerful leagues, Kevin Prince Boateng has announced his retirement at the age of 36.

Kevin Prince Boateng has retired after an impressive career

The German-born, Ghanaian-born player made the decision to end his career at the end of the season with the team with which he started in big football, Hertha Berlin.

With an impressive career behind him, Kevin-Prince Boateng has featured in the German, Italian and Spanish leagues and has a title with AC Milan and Barcelona.

Although he represented Germany in the junior and youth teams, the striker was chosen by the first team of Ghana, with whom he participated in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, collecting only 15 appearances and 2 goals.

His CV also includes Tottenham, Dortmund, Portsmouth, Genoa, Schalke 04, Las Palmas, Frankfurt, Sassuolo, Fiorentina, Besiktas and Monza.
