Félix Auger-Aliassime is considered by experts to be one of the most talented players of the new generation, but the 22-year-old Canadian is not having the most successful season, and besides, he left the Toronto Masters early.

Felix Auger-Aliassime, 11 defeats in the last 14 matches

In the first round of the competition in Canada, Felix was defeated by Australian Max Purcell (78 ATP) right in front of his fans with a score of 6-4, 6-4.

Felix, who has been coached by Toni Nadal (Rafa’s uncle) for the past two-and-a-half years, has recently been dealing with several knee problems.

After reaching the quarterfinals in Indian Wells (the last tournament in which she managed to tie two victories), Auger-Aliassime suffered 10 losses and won only 3 matches.

As such, Felix (who was ranked No. 6 in the ATP Rankings in November 2022, the best ranking of his career) is currently ranked No. 12 in the world and could lose several places this week (depending on the results of the matches in Toronto).
