At the press conference before the match with the “dogs”, Olten’s coach Eugen Nyagoe talked about the match with “Dynamo”, stating that he expects a difficult duel.

“It was always a derby, because all games with Dynamo had a high degree of risk not only on the field, but also outside the stadium. We had more competition with Dynamo than with FCSB. I felt this as a player and coach.

I managed to win the Cup twice as a player, once the championship. The University of Craiova has won this event twice in history, once in 1981 and in 1991 with our generation. I would like to do the same now, Alex and his colleagues as a player, and I as a coach, I wish from the bottom of my heart.

We have hopes that we will be able to achieve our goals, I don’t want to use loud words, I can only promise that we will do everything in our power to become better, stronger.

If we count the match against Sepsi in the championship that ended recently, when we had a modest development, I think that in the playoffs we were the team that practiced the best football.

Hopefully luck is on our side as it has been sidelined this spring. We have high hopes, it’s a tough game even if we face a fresh team.
