On Zhaber lost in the third final of the Grand Slam tournament
Ons Jaber lost her third career Grand Slam final, her second in a row at Wimbledon, and shed heavy tears after an argument with Marketa Vondrousova.
The player from Tunisia also lost last year’s final against Olena Rybakina, in addition to the US Open 2022 with Iga Svyatek.
As a result, the athlete, who occupies the 6th place in the WTA hierarchy, admitted that Saturday’s defeat at Wimbledon is the most painful in her career.

Zhaber also made a good message for her opponent Marketa Vondrousova.
“It’s a very difficult moment and I know I’m going to look bad in the photos. I believe that this is the most painful defeat in my career. First of all, I want to congratulate Marketa, both her and her team. They had an amazing tour.
I know you’ve had a lot of injuries, but you’re a great player and now I’m happy for you. It will be a very difficult day for me, but I will not give up and I will come back stronger.
This is a special tournament for me, I want to thank my team for always believing in me. One day we will make it. Thank you for coming (audience not) for cheering me on. Thank you for being here since day one at Wimbledon.
I appreciate your support. It’s been a tough journey, but that’s tennis. I promise you that one day I will come back and win the tournament.” – said Ons Jaber.
