Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, the leader of the ATP ranking, said that it is “probably true” that his father filmed the Serbian Novak Djokovic, “but only because he is a big fan of tennis”, according to AFP.

“My dad doesn’t just watch my matches. I think he comes to the club at 11:00 in the morning and leaves at 10:00 in the evening after watching all the matches, everyone’s training,” Carlos Alcaraz said, among other things.

“To see Djokovic live, yes, he must have filmed one of his training sessions,” Alcaraz also clarified, saying that such filming would not bring him any advantages, reports Agerpres.

“Filming with Djokovic is full on all platforms. I don’t think you can get any advantage,” he added.

Novak Djokovic, who is aiming for his 24th Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, lamented to Serbian media about his “lack of privacy” during his training for the London tournament.

At one of the training sessions, the Serbian player was captured on camera by a person from Alcaraz’s entourage.

Djokovic and Alcaraz can become rivals in the 2023 Wimbledon final.
