The deciding set had no history, the player from Great Britain managed to win categorically 6-0 and make one of the surprises of the day.
Less than a month ago, Casper Ruud played in the final of the Roland Garros tournament, where he lost to Novak Djokovic with a score of 7-6, 6-3, 7-5.
In the third round, Liam Brody will play a match with Canadian Denis Shapovalov (29 WTA).
