Italians suspect that the skeleton found on a construction site in Rome belongs to Romanian Andrea Rabchuk
According to Roma Today, cited by ProTV News, a group of Italian workers discovered a skeleton in a sewer at a construction site on Via Ettore Fieramosca in Casal Bertone.
A necklace was found on the remains that could match the one worn by the Romanian woman, and prosecutors ordered a DNA test.
At the time of her disappearance, Rabchuk was living in Jezi (province of Ancona), when she was 27 years old, and was last seen leaving a party in Montecarotto by herself.
The main suspect is Simone Gresti, her Italian lover, who late reported that Andrea was missing, and traces of the Romanian woman’s blood were found in his car.
The athlete unsuccessfully tried to call her father in Spain (he did not answer because he was sleeping), and then sent him a message that she needed help.
“After she met the wrong people, her life went downhill,” said Andrea’s mother’s partner in an interview with the Italian press.
Andreja Rabchuk was registered with CSS Rădăuți and CSM Suceava and was part of the Romanian sports shooting team.
