This summer, the Romanian vice-champions have transferred three players for the new season, but the biggest blow is the extension of the contracts of their stars.

The best players of red and blue Florinel Coman, Darius Olaru and Octavian Popescu signed new five-year contracts this summer, writes ProSport.

Captain Darius Olaru, who is valued at €5.3 million, will receive a monthly salary of €20,000 for the first three years and a further €5,000 in the final two years.

Star Florinel Coman is Romania’s highest-paid player, earning €30,000 a month.

Both also have available release clauses with clubs abroad, €5 million each.

Instead, the player Gigi Becali wants to strike with, Octavian Popescu, received a monthly salary of 8,000 euros, which will increase by 1,000 euros annually.

In his case, the management set a contract termination clause in the amount of 100 million euros.
