
Madison Keys won her seventh career title, her first since 2023, after defeating Daria Kasatkina in the WTA 500 final in Eastbourne.

Madison, who is ranked 25th in the world, won after an hour and 43 minutes of play over Daria (9th seed), score 6-2, 7-6(13).
Keys saved her fifth match point in the tiebreak after four set points by her opponent.
During the UK competition, Madison Keys also defeated Teresa Martinsova (113 WTA), Sia Wang (73 WTA), Petra Martic (30 WTA) and Coco Gauff (7 WTA).
The 28-year-old from the USA won the event in 2014 and also has titles in Birmingham (2016), Stanford (2017), Cincinnati, Charleston (2019) and Adelaide (2022).
Madison lost five more finals: Charleston (2015), Rome, Montreal (2016), US Open (2017) and Brisbane (2020).
In the first round of Wimbledon-2023, Keys will meet Sonai Kartal (264 WTA, wild-card holder), and Kasatkina will meet Caroline Doleheid (100 WTA).
