Kasatkina confidently won the first set with a score of 6-2, and after a score of 2-1 in the second act, Garcia complained of problems with her right shoulder and was forced to withdraw.
Thus, Daria Kasatkina will play in the semi-finals against the winner of Olena Ostapenko (17 WTA) and Kamila Giorgi (67 WTA).
The tournament in Eastbourne belongs to the WTA 500 category and offers a total of $780,637 in prize money. The title champion is Petra Kvitova. It takes place from June 26 to July 1.
