Gabriel Debelyuch, close to Sepsi after the divorce from the CFR Cluj

Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe is preparing for the first season with Liviu Ciobotariu on the bench after winning the Romanian Cup the previous season.

The team from Kovas will also play in the second preliminary round of the UEFA Conference League, where they will face CSKA Sofia in a two-legged match.

With Pavol Safranco and Mario Rondon in the squad, the Sfantu Gheorghe group are very close to making an exceptional transfer.

After parting ways with CFR Cluj, Gabriel Debeliuch is out of contract and is in talks with Sepsi and, according to GSP, will sign a two-season deal with the winner of the last two Romanian Cup draws.

According to Transfermarkt, Debeluch hasn’t played since August 2022.

The 26-year-old Croatian striker was seriously injured at the time and was not allowed to play again after refusing to renew his contract with the group then coached by Dan Petrescu.

After signing with Sepsi, Gabriel Debeluch will reach 3 teams in the Super League, after Germanstadt and CFR Cluj.

Debelyukh played 103 matches for CFR and scored 33 times. In Hermannstadt, he scored 13 goals in 32 matches.
