Georgia and Portugal have reached the quarter-finals of the European Under-21 Championship, joining already qualified Spain, Ukraine and England.

Portugal – Belgium 2-1 / Netherlands – Georgia 1-1, Euro U21

Georgia, who are co-hosting the competition with Romania, managed to send the Netherlands home after a 1-1 draw in Group A on Tuesday.

Davitashvili opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, and the Batavian team equalized in the sixth minute of extra time in the first half.

Thus, the Georgians made a surprise and won the group, and the Netherlands left the competition.

And Portugal secured a place in the quarters after defeating Belgium with a score of 2:1.

In the 56th minute, Neves opened the scoring against the Lusitanians, nine minutes later Vertessen equalized the score, and Dantas, with a shot from 11 meters in the 89th minute, secured Portugal’s exit.

From Group B, Spain and Ukraine have already secured qualification ahead of the final game, while England top Group C and are confident of their place in the quarter-finals.
