
The 59th edition of the powerful Sette Colli Trophy swimming competition will take place this weekend in Rome. Davyd Popovichi will take part in 100 and 200 meter freestyle swimming.

The Romanian athlete will compete this weekend in the Sette Colli Trophy, considered one of the oldest swimming competitions in the world.
The competition in Italy is for the Romanian athlete a control competition, a test before the World Championships in Fukuoka, which will be held from July 23 to 30.
TVR INFO will broadcast the Sette Colli Trophy final live on Saturday and Sunday, June 24 and 25, at 8:10 p.m. and 8:05 p.m. respectively.
768 athletes from 29 countries on five continents compete over three days at the elegant Stadio del Nuoto on the Foro Italico in Rome.
Among them are nine Romanian athletes, members of the national team, who will take part in several tests:
David Popovichi (100 and 200 m freestyle)
Andrii Angel (50, 100 m backstroke, 50 m butterfly)
Aleksandra Stoyka (50 and 100 m freestyle)
Daniel Nikushan (50, 100 and 200 m breaststroke)
Denis Popescu (50 and 100 m backstroke, 50 m butterfly)
Tobias Dumitrake (50, 100 and 200 m butterfly)
Andrii Ungur (50 and 100 m backstroke, 50 m butterfly, 100 m freestyle)
Daniel Martin (50 and 100 m butterfly)
Mihai Gergeli (50, 100 m freestyle, 200 m individual medley).
They are accompanied by coaches Adrian Redulescu, Eduard Kislaru, Matei Julian, Marius Grigore, Claudio Radu and federal coach Silviu Anastase.
