One of the Romanian players being watched by foreign teams is Octavian Popescu, the FCSB midfielder who could change the league this summer.

According to Italian media, Popescu is on the roster of Fiorentina, this year’s Conference League finalist.

“An attacking winger for coach Vincenzo Italiano. Fiorentina are looking for reinforcements in the attacking department, with Octavian Popescu among those wanted.

The 21-year-old FCSB winger will be evaluated by the Viola management at the European Under-21 Championship matches hosted by Romania and Georgia,” Tuttomercatoweb reports.

Oktaian Popescu came 3 years ago to FCSB, for which he scored 18 goals in 104 matches.
