The organizers of the Wimbledon tournament announced on Wednesday the total value of the prizes on offer this year, which is at a record level – 44.6 million pounds.

The prize pool is 11.2% higher than in 2022 and 17.1% higher than in the pre-pandemic 2019 edition.
The men’s and women’s singles champions will receive £2,350,000 each.
According to News.ro, the winners of the men’s and women’s singles finals will each receive £1,175,000.
Athletes who lose in the main draw in the first round will receive £55,000 each, a 10 per cent increase on 2022.
This year’s third Grand Slam tournament will be held from July 3 to 16.
