Alaves v Eibar, the second leg of the La Liga promotion play-off semi-final, is scheduled for Thursday, June 8 at 10:00 p.m. at the Mendizoritza Stadium in Vitoria and will be broadcast live on Digi Sport 2, Orange Sport 1 and Prima Sport 2.

Alaves and Eibar, the two teams from the Basque Country who have played in La Liga in recent years, are equally likely to reach the promotion play-off final after being tied 1-1 in the June 3 round. Eibar’s best player is Juan Diego Molina Martínez, aka Stoichkov, the regular season’s top scorer with 12 goals, who was given the nickname on his shirt instead of the great Bulgarian football player Hrtisto Stoichkov.

Before the promotion play-off round match, the two sides played out a league draw at Eibar, with Alaves winning 2-0 at home (Villalibre 70, 90+2).
