On June 7, Steaua Bucharest celebrates 76 years since its foundation, and FCSB and CSA, two teams that are in dispute over their name and records, have not overlooked the importance of this day.
UEFA confused the FCSB logo with Steaua’s CSA logo
FCSB announced on social media that the team was founded in 1947 and in the early 2000s the football section was transferred to the Army Sports Club under FIFA and UEFA.
For their part, the stars marked the anniversary with a review of athletes from all departments who performed in red and blue uniforms.
The surprise came from UEFA, who on Wednesday released photos of all the Champions League winners from 1956 to the present day.
However, in 1986, the current FCSB logo appears instead of CSA Steaua.
Founded on June 7, 1947, the CSA Steaua football section has 20 Romanian championship titles, 19 Romanian Cups, three Super Cups, the European Champions Cup and the European Super Cup.
