Karolina Mukhova beat Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova at Roland Garros
Mukhova, who is ranked 43rd in the world, won in straight sets against the Russian, who reached the final act of the Grand Slam in Paris 2021 with a score of 7-5, 6-2.
Carolina was much more accurate than the opponent (21 winning shots and 15 unforced errors; 16 and 29 in Anastasia) and won after an hour and 39 minutes of play.
