​Aryna Sabalenko made it to the 1/8 finals of Roland Garros without any problems in the match against the athlete from Belarus Kamilla Rakhimova in only 67 minutes of play.

Being on the first position in the WTA Live hierarchy, Sabalenko decisively defeated the Russian Rakhimova (82 WTA) with a score of 6-2, 6-2.

This is Sabalenka’s third consecutive victory at her second Grand Slam this year, following Marta Kostiuk and Iryna Szymanowych.

In the next round, Australian Open-2023 champion Arina will meet the winner of the match between American Sloane Stevens (30 WTA, finalist on clay in Paris in 2018) and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva (58 WTA).

The Roland Garros tournament takes place from May 28 to June 11, has a total prize pool of 49.6 million euros, and is the 127th tournament. Iga Sviatek and Rafael Nadal (14-time winner in Paris) became the champions of the title.
