Sara Errani – Iryna Begu, the second round match of the women’s tennis Grand Slam at Roland Garros will take place on Wednesday, May 30, at 4:15 p.m. on Court No. 1. 9 and will be broadcast live on Eurosport 1.

Iryna Begu will start her Roland Garros second-round match as favorite against Sara Errani, a late-career athlete who has struggled with injuries and doping problems in recent years.

“Of course, it will be a difficult match, I try not to look at the opponent, look at myself and manage my affairs. We know each other quite well, we even played with her last time in Bucharest, but every match is different, there is something new. I know how to play, speaking from a tactical point of view, but let’s see how it will be,” said Iryna Begu.

For participation in this stage of the competition, both athletes secured 97 thousand euros and 70 WTA points.

The winner of the match between Sara Errani and Iryna Begu will play in the third round of Roland Garros against the winner of the match between Karolina Mukhova (Czech Republic, 43rd WTA rank) and Nadia Podoroska (Argentina, 103rd WTA rank).
