Valentin Kretsu extended his contract with FCSB

Being on the relegation list alongside Dejan Sorescu, Yoonas Tamm, Boban Nikolov, Billel Omrani, Julian Cristea or Rezvan Oaide, right-back Valentin Kretsu kept his place in the extreme squad.

Arriving as a reserve after the arrival of Sorescu, Kretsu has played very little in recent years, and Gigi Becali has announced that he will no longer be joining the team or playing on the grass.

After the defender’s loan from Rakov expires, FCSB will be left with just the young Panthea on the right flank of the defense.

According to ProSport, Valentin Kretsu agreed to a salary reduction and received a new contract until the end of next season.

At the age of 34, Kretsu joined FCSB in 2019 from Gaz Metan MediaČ™ and has also played for Concordia Chiajna, Rapid and Energie Cottbus, as well as making two appearances for the national team.
