Mark Philippoussis is no longer the coach of Stefanos Tsitsipas

One of the most important moments of cooperation between them happened at the Australian Open 2023, where the Greek reached the final of the Grand Slam tournament for the second time.

“Stefanos Tsitsipas, thank you for the opportunity to be part of your team. It was a great experience, I am proud of what we achieved together in a short time of cooperation. I wish you to be healthy, happy and successful in the future on and off the field” – Mark Philippoussis on Instagram.

Tsitsipas spoke about Philippoussi in early March before the tournament in Indian Wells.

“Mark is a very wise man, he has a lot of knowledge. I think the fact that he has experienced these things himself on the track and can now give me some advice is key. He gives a lot of feedback. He can relate to many things that have happened to me and sees a little bit of himself in me in certain circumstances and situations” – Stefanos Tsitsipasabout Mark Philippoussis.

Stephanos Tsitsipas will continue to be coached by his father Apostolos.
