Jonuts Radu wants to stay in Ligue 1 in Auxerre

After an unsuccessful first part of the season at Cremonese, Ionuc Radu was loaned to Auxerre, where exceptional events brought him back to the Romanian national team.

The 25-year-old is an undisputed starter for the Ligue 1 side and the Romanian goalkeeper has already decided he wants to stay until the end of the season.

With two rounds left in the season, Auxerre is 16th in Ligue 1, just one point ahead of first-placed Nantes.

Jonutz Radu’s agent has confirmed to Tuttomercatoweb that he plans to stay at Auxerre if the French side are not relegated.

“He had a great season in Auxerre. Let’s hope that salvation will come (no – the offer of a permanent transition). Then his future will be calmly assessed.” – said Oscar Damiani.

At the press conference before the game against Toulouse, the Romanian goalkeeper specified his intentions after the end of this season.

“I like to take each game at a time because you can’t predict the future. You can create your future, that’s true, but it’s better to play one game at a time, because if you do well, you’re bound to do well in the future.

This is the most important thing. First we must save Auxerre and then we will think about other things. Now this is a priority.” – Jonuts told the Council.

€3.5 million is Jonuts Radu’s market share according to Transfermarkt.
