Organizers of the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris are preparing a very ambitious plan, Reuters reported on Monday.
Sources from the British agency say the Paris 2024 organizing committee is working on placing the Olympic flame on the Eiffel Tower, which will combine two leading symbols, namely the symbol of France and the symbol of the Olympic spirit of Ancient Greece.
Details of the plan, where, how and when, have not yet been leaked, but what is certain is that the torch relay in 2024 will be much brighter than in Tokyo in 2021 due to pandemic restrictions.
It is unclear if the flames will remain at the monument in central Paris during the event, which runs from July 26 to August 11.
The source cited by the agency added that the Flame will not be placed on top of the Eiffel Tower for technical reasons.
