Already crowned champions by a considerable margin in Italy, Napoli beat Inter Milan, the team that reached the Champions League final this week, at home in the Serie A round of 36.

Napoli – Inter 3-1, Serie A

Italian champions for 33 years, Napoli remain focused at the end of this Serie A season.

At the end of the first half, “Inter” remained in numerical advantage: Gagliardini received a red card after two yellow cards in the 19th and 41st minutes.

Luciano Spalletti’s men opened the scoring in the 67th minute through Angissa and could have doubled their lead in the 79th minute, but Giovanni Simeone’s goal was disallowed by VAR for a foul.

Milan equalized in the 82nd minute through Romelu Lukaku, but Di Lorenzo put Napoli ahead three minutes later.

In the fifth minute of extra time, Gaetano closed the score and won a less certain victory than the score indicates.

With two stages left in the season, Inter Milan are still unsure of their presence in the upcoming Champions League season, although they are in third position with 66 points.
