Redoi’s dismissal surprised not only the Romanian football world, but also the Arab world, where the extension of the coach’s contract was recently announced. The Saudis concluded that Radoy’s release was, at least on the face of it, unjustified.

Saudi media note that Al-Tay have been quick to fire their coaches as the team has reached its third other bench coach this season.
