Jelena Ostapenko eliminated Paula Badoza and advanced to the semifinals in Rome

Olena Ostapenko, who ranks 20th in the WTA ranking, made it to the ticket office of the tournament in Rome.

It took the Latvian one hour and 50 minutes to overtake former world number two Paula Badosa (35 WTA).

In the semifinals, Ostapenko will meet a caliber opponent. It can give either Olena Rybakina (6 WTA) or Iga Svyatek, the world leader.

WTA Rome takes place from May 9 to 20 on the clay in the Foro Italico complex. His total prize money is $3,572,618 and is in the “WTA 1000” category. Iga Svyatek became the champion of the last two competitions.
