Novak Djokovic (36 years old, No. 1 ATP) today qualified for the “quarters” of the Rome Masters after success in at least successful sets against British Cameron Norrie (27 years old, No. 13 ATP), the score 6-3, 6-4.

The first match of the day at the central Fore Italico brought to the fore an extremely tense scene between the two fighters. With the score 6-2, 2-1 in favor of the Serb, his opponent was the main character of the moment, which caused a lot of controversy.

What exactly happened? Norrie resorted to a closing gesture at the end of a point that Djokovic couldn’t win: the Briton had a routine forehand at the net but decided to aim at the Serb, who had his back turned. The ball hit the calf of Novak, who did not digest the moment very well. He turned to Norrie and gave him a “killer” look!
