The final act of the Champions League is scheduled for June 10 in Istanbul, but the management of UEFA is seriously considering the possibility of moving the final to Lisbon.

In particular, presidential elections will be held in Turkey at the end of May, and if there is a second round, it will be scheduled for May 28.

With Erdogan and Kemal Kilicdaroglu separated by just 5 percent in recent polls, Uefa expects fresh unrest to threaten the safety of fans traveling to Istanbul for the final.

It is for this reason that UEFA has already contacted the Portuguese Football Federation, and the final may be urgently moved to Lisbon for security reasons, reports the Daily Mail.
