Jean-Michel Aulas, ousted as president-general manager of Olympique Lyonnais, which was taken over by the holding company that bought the Ligue 1 club in December, will receive compensation of around 24 million euros, AFP reports.

When John Textor-led holding company Eagle Football bought the French club for €798m plus a €86m capital increase, it was agreed that Olas would remain as chairman for at least three years.

As a result of the dismissal, Aulas will receive compensation.

The former president-general manager, at the age of 74, will not completely part with Olympique Lyonnais, becoming honorary president, reports News.ro.
