Coached by Romanian coach Mirel Redoi, Al-Ta’i made a fantastic start to the match against Al-Batin and led 3-0 in the 28th minute.

Sayoud opened the scoring in the 14th minute, then Mbenza made it 2-0 in the 18th minute before Musona converted a penalty in the 28th minute. 3:0 in favor of guests from Al-Tai.

The hosts managed to score a goal in extra minutes of the first half thanks to Lopez Patron, and Radoy and company led 3-1 at the break.

The second half was a nightmare for the visitors. Al-Shammari scored Al-Batin’s second goal in the 52nd minute before not scoring again until the end.

Roa equalized in the 87th minute and Lopez Patron gave Al Batin victory with a penalty in the 90th+11th minute to pull off a major upset in the Saudi Professional League.

Al-Batin are in last place in the league with 18 points, while Al-Tai are seventh with 34 points, according to News.ro.
