The most controversial stage of the first semi-final match of the UEFA Champions League “Real Madrid” – “Manchester City” (1:1) occurred in the middle of the second half.

22 seconds before Kevin de Bruyne’s equaliser, Real Madrid were adjudged to have gone offside despite Bernardo Silva’s best efforts to keep it out, but centre-back Artur Diaz left the game and City scored.

BEINSport used 3D technology to produce an image that shows the ball going completely out of bounds before being hit by Silva. After the “proofs”, there were many discussions about the correctness of the decision to confirm the success of the “citizens”.

But the Iberian architect Nacho Tellado turned everything upside down. He claims that the image offered by BEINSport would not be “true”.

“In this video, the lines suddenly become super thin, the ones next to each other don’t look like the real thing. The size of the ball is also selected. I think it’s risky to create something so accurate from just one point of view, from such a great distance. But hey, it’s TV,” Tellado wrote on Twitter.
