Paris Saint-Germain broke all transfer records in the summer of 2017, when they paid no less than 222 million euros for the transfer of Neymar from Barcelona. Now the Brazilian is considering leaving the Parc des Princes and is ready for a sensational return.

Neymar wants to return to Barcelona

The tension created by Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain has left other players wondering about their future at the Parc des Princes.

Although he has a contract with Paris Saint-Germain until the summer of 2027, Mundo Deportivo journalists write that the Brazilian is considering extending the offers he will receive this summer.

Neymar’s season ended rather quickly after suffering a serious injury against Lille, and the 31-year-old is attracting offers from several of Europe’s top clubs.

Newcastle, who have almost qualified for next season’s UEFA Champions League, are among the teams who have already taken an interest in the Brazilian.

Chelsea and Manchester United are also monitoring Neymar, but the quoted source says he wants to return to Barcelona.

Even if Barcelona cannot afford to buy Neymar, given that Joan Laporta is preparing the return of Messi to the Camp Nou, the Spaniards write that PSG does not exclude the option of a possible loan of the Brazilian.

€70 million is Neymar’s market share according to Transfermarkt.
