The Mircea Rednik-coached side missed out on a second successive play-off success and were only one point behind FC Argesh at the end of a 2-2 draw.

The visitors scored both goals in the first half, but the second half was a nightmare.

In the 27th minute, Moldovan Virgiliu Postolaki opened the scoring against Batrana Doamne, and in the 42nd minute, the home team had a chance to equalize, but Andreas Kalkan missed a shot from 11 meters.

A few seconds before the break, Claudio Kesheru doubled the advantage of the visitors with a sensational success (min. 45).

In the second half, the hosts were a bit more aggressive, and in the 80th minute, Garita returned hope to Pitesti, scoring a goal from 11 meters.

The madness began in the 99th minute when Argesul got the third shot from 11 meters. The same Garita realized and snatched a crazy point for Pitesti.
