
Petrolul Ploiesti climbed to the top spot after a 2-1 away win over Chindia Tirgovishte in the seventh round of the Superliga play-out.

After the match against Petrolul, Chindia Tirgovishte can be considered a failure after they opened the scoring, did not concede a goal and equalized after a blunder by goalkeeper Kebuz.
The team coached by Toni Petrea opened the scoring in the 5th minute thanks to Doro Popadyuk, who scored from inside the penalty area after a pass from Negutz, capitalizing on a mistake by the Ploiesti defence.
The score was equalized only in the 50th minute, when Diomande shot from the far edge of the penalty area, the ball caught on the ground, hit goalkeeper Catalin Kebuza in the face and went into the net.
Ten minutes later, Daniel Popa was able to score for Chindia with a shot from just outside the penalty area, but the success was overturned after the VAR images were reviewed.
In the 77th minute, Giku Grozav brought a kick from his leg from 20 meters to the team coached by Florin Pirvu.
The result moves Petrolul to the top of the play-offs with 34 points, while Chindia remains in 13th place, leading the play-offs, with 22 points.
