The number one favorite at the tournament in Madrid, Iga Sviatek (1 WTA) made it to the semi-finals without emotion, managing to defeat Petra Martic (33 WTA) by one step at the end of the match, which lasted a little more than an hour. The Pole lost only 3 games.

The world leader started very aggressively and won the first set in just 27 minutes without losing a single game.
