UTA managed to climb into the play-off spot after narrowly winning 1-0 at home against FC Hermannstadt in the first league match since the arrival of Mircea Rednik, in the sixth stage of the Superliga play-off.

Making his debut on the bench for UTA during the defeat in the semi-final of the Romanian Cup against the University of Cluj, Mircea Rednik brought the players of “Arad” their first victory in the Super League after four stages.

In the 50th minute, UTA received a shot from 11 meters after a handball in the penalty area by Mino Sota. The referee made the decision after checking the VAR system.

Two minutes later, Roger converted a penalty, although the Letitsa goalkeeper guessed the corner.

Moments of panic – Rare Pop, fell on the lawn

The game was stopped in the 73rd minute when 17-year-old UTA midfielder Raresh Pop fell to the pitch after a shot towards the Sibian goal. He was taken to an ambulance, where he recovered.

According to Gsp, the young footballer was hit by Mino Sota after he was thrown, but he allegedly suffered a calcium drop after also claiming problems during training this week.
