The fifth stage of the second division play-out has largely clarified the problems at the bottom of the standings, the four teams that have been relegated directly and one of the two that will play in the play-offs.

The penultimate stage of the League 2 play-offs brought Polytechnic Timişoara and Minaur Baia Mare from Group A and Repensia Timisoara and Uniru Konstanz from Group B.

The final stage will determine who will finish fifth in Group A, between CSM Slatina and Metaloglobus București, who will play a second league match against Progresul Spartac.
