FC Voluntari did not lose even in the 5th stage of the play-out. The team coached by Liviu Ciobotariu was held to a 2-2 draw with Petrolul Ploiesti in a late game with a modest number of scoring opportunities.

The fifth match of the play-out was another match in which FC Voluntari did not lose.

Liviu Chobotariu’s team drew at home with Petrolul. The home team could even win, but Petrolul ended up equalizing the score.

In the 35th minute, Marcelo Lopes opened the scoring for the home team with a shot, but the pro team equalized before the break thanks to Gik Grozav (43rd minute), who converted a shot from 11 meters.

In the second half, Ilfoven continued to have the ball and eventually took the lead again.

Runar Mar Sigurjonsson, a former CFR Cluj player, scored with a superb strike (82′), but the visitors equalized for the second time through Romero Dua (88′).

Despite the fact that the Ilfov team is undefeated in the play-offs, the emotions remain in the first division. The volunteer is only two points above the red rating zone.
