They live in a country where sport is on women it was flagged as something… unnecessary. Some have stopped playing sports, burned their sportswear and are hiding. But some others were looking for another life away from the places where they were born. These are athletes from Afghanistan. Women who refused to obey the Taliban and continue to play sports away from their country.

Their “compass” is sport, and through it they claim a better life, both for themselves and for their compatriots in Afghanistan.
