He graduated from high school in Bucharest between 1940-1948, then studied at the Faculty of Literature (1948-1949), from where he was drawn to the “Mihai Eminescu” School of Literature and Literary Criticism (1952-1953). ).
He was first a reporter at Revista elevilor (1948-1949) and then continued at Sânteia tierentului (1949).
He also worked as a miller at Uzinele Timpuri Noi (1950) and then returned as an editor at Scânteia tinertului (1953-1956) as a special reporter and debuted with “Opiniile unui pămătean”. In 1968-1987, he was the editor of “Cinema” magazine, reports gsp.ro.
