Manchester City, the first FA Cup finalist

The wards of Pep Guardiola did not feel much emotion in front of the vice-champion of the Championship, Sheffield United.

The player of the match was Riyad Mahrez, who managed to complete a hat-trick, with which he decided the fate of the game in the 43rd (with a penalty), 61st and 66th minutes.

The Citizens look forward to Sunday’s clash, in the second semi-final between Manchester United and Brighton, to find out their opponent in the last act of the competition.

Manchester City have reached the FA Cup final 11 times, winning the trophy six times, most recently in the 2018-2019 season.

The oldest football tournament in England, the FA Cup, has more than 150 years of tradition, dating back to the 1871-1872 season.
