The Romanian women’s handball team found out their opponents in the qualifying matches for the 2024 European Championship on Thursday evening.

Romania is in Group 1 along with Croatia, Greece and Bosnia and Herzegovina

The national team, coached by Florentin Pera, got to know their opponent on the way to the 2024 European Championship.

The Romanian national team was drawn into Group 1 along with Croatia, Greece and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

31 teams participate in the preliminary stage, and only 24 of them will play in the final tournament (the top two from each group), which will be held in Switzerland, Austria and Hungary.

3 qualify directly for the final tournament together with the Norwegian national team, which is the champion of the entire title.

The preliminary matches will start this autumn and will stretch until the spring of 2024, and the final tournament matches will take place from November 28, 2024 to December 15, 2024.
